Rick Ryan
Managing and founding shareholder Rick Ryan has a strong history that spans more than 40 years of litigation and trial success. He is an Advocate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is AV rated by Martindale–Hubbell. Mr. Ryan is a graduate of Southwestern University School of Law (J.D. 1982) and California State University, Fullerton (B.A. 1978). He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1982. Mr. Ryan also gained substantial claims experience in the insurance industry prior to entering the field of law.
Aaron J. Weissman
Aaron J. Weissman has practiced in civil and business litigation for over 37 years, with an emphasis in motion and appellate practice. A UCLA undergraduate, Mr. Weissman is a graduate of the University of West Los Angeles School of Law (J.D. 1980). He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1981 and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Weissman was a volunteer Los Angeles Superior Court Mediator for the almost 20 years that the Court’s ADR program operated.
Craig Donahue
Craig Donahue has been a trial litigator for more than 40 years. He is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates and is AV rated by Martindale–Hubbell. Mr. Donahue is a graduate of Loyola School of Law (J.D. 1977) and The University of California at Berkeley (B.A. 1973). He has been a member of the California Bar since 1977. Mr. Donahue was the Burbank High School Mock Trial Attorney Coach from 2000 to 2015, voted the Mock Trial Coach of the Year by the Constitutional Rights Foundation in 2013.
Cindy Kort
Cindy Kort has been a medical malpractice defense attorney in the Los Angeles area for over 30 years. She graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (J.D. 1987) and the University of Michigan (M.S. 1979, B.S. 1978). She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1987.
Hao Wu
Hao Wu is an associate. Hao is a graduate of California Western School of Law (J.D., 2018) and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution of Pepperdine School of Law (L.L.M. with the concentration in International Commercial Arbitration, 2015). She completed her undergraduate from East China University of Political Science and Law (L.L.B., 2010). She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2019.
Miya Deng
Miya Deng is an associate. Miya graduated from University of Southern California (LL.M., 2020) and she obtained her Bachelor of Law degree (J.D. Equivalent) from South China Normal University (2015). Miya passed the Bar of China in 2018 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2022.
Christiana Kim
Christiana Kim is an associate. She graduated from Pepperdine School of Law (J.D., 2019). She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Rhetoric at University of California, Berkeley (B.A., 2015).
She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2023.
